    BDL LTD Visits

In the past two weeks, I had the opportunity to visit with Brian Dickicon @ BDLicon LTD twice. These were the first trips to Brian's shop and well worth it. Brian took the time out of his busy schedule to show me his shop and allow me to look around. I honestly could spend days in there looking at everything and listening to Brian's stories.

The main purpose of this post is to thank Brian for his time and to encourage all of the members here to remember Brian when looking for an Enfield or related items. If you are looking to purchase an Enfield, I would recommend getting one from him before they dry up. With Brian, you know what you are getting as far as quality, the same cannot be said for all sellers (especially the auction sites).

I have made numerous purchases from Brian over the years and have had him work on three of my Enfields (1941 Savage No4 MkI T Less Telescope, 1942 Savage No4 MkI/2, and my L42) and he has never disappointed.

I will continue to give as much of my business to BDL LTD as I can and encourage others to do the same.

I'm envious, as I'm way too far north to stop by to see the shop. I do visit the BDLicon website often and have made some smaller, non-firearm, purchases from him (so far) and can't say enough good things about Brian's service and willingness to answer questions.

I have bought some parts from Brian in the past. Even ordering parts you know you are getting quality, not some overhyped rusty or beat up mess. He is a great guy to deal with.

I am happy to recommend Brian also.

Just recently received back a Poole No.5 Mk1 bayonet that Brian had FTR'd. Properly phosphated and with the handle finished in Suncorite it looks ready for re-issue and is a perfect match for the my No.5 rifle.
    Very pleased.

    Thanks Brian!

    Indeed, a Consummate Professional

I, too, have had some work done by Brian and he's a top notch guy. Only wish I had more $$ so that I could purchase more of his items.

    +1
I have known Brian for about 20 years. I've bought a CNo4Mk1, a pair of T's, and a L42A1 from him over the years and have never been disappointed. Brian's a straight shooter.

I too have ordered parts from Brian at BDLicon and have nothing but good things to say for both Brian and his wife.
