Found this old girl at a gunshow Saturday morning.

1945 BSA production, wood/receiver/bolt/barrel all matching, no import marks. Bore cleaned right up after a soak with some Break-Free and a few patches of copper solvent. Nice strong rifling. Wasn't expecting to find a Jungle Carbine, but I was definitely happy to get it

Great looking original condition rifle and oftern clean up nisely. However, does not look very 'jungle' where you are! I to am curently looking for such a rifle although they are now starting to get expensive here in the UK icon

That's the truth! I found myself wondering if she might be having some flashbacks to Korea or somesuch

sorry i missed you at the gunshow , but that snow prevented me making the trip in the end anyways , congrats on a very nice find ,

Yeah, I figured the snow might cause you guys some problems. Always more shows to meet at!

Any thoughts on this? What appears to be a "T" just above the knox form?
