    Savage No 4 Magazine

    I own a Savage No 4 in exc condition which I believe is of New Zealandicon issue. I have a couple of questions regarding the Magazine that this gun came with. Please look at the photos. I have a couple of spare No: 4 magazines but the one fitted to this gun is different in so far as the way it has been put together and the brand stamp. I want to keep this gun as original as possible, so can someone please advise whether this Magazine is for this period of firearm. Also if anyone can anyone advise of the origin/background of this gun I would appreciate it ?

    It is a standard Savage magazine body. The follower was made by a Canadianicon subcontractor, I think. Leave it be, it'll never be "more original" than it is now.
