1915 Lithgow ShtLE - Slings of that period

My 1915 Lithgowicon ShtLE is fitted with the attached sling. The gun has all matching number and in exc condition. I have previously posted photos of this gun. I don't know too much about the slings issued to these guns. Most have no markings but this one does. Is there anyone out there that has some knowledge on who manufactured these slings, obviously they were outsourced?

There's a couple of good links in this thread:

What is the proper SMLE sling

    (see Posts #2 and #7)

I seem to remember another good thread but it was so long ago that I'm not sure that it wasn't on the old lost Joustericon forums.

1915 Lithgow ShtLE - Slings of that period

It's a GP MkI second type sling. They started making them around 1903 I think. Yes, there were a number of contractors making them besides Mills Equipment Co.
