Lee .577 Snider seating die problems??

Got the dies new and later got the Classic Cast press with the 1 1/4" thread for the large dies. Removed the 7/8" thread adapter screwed in the Snider die and noticed the really loose fit of the dies in the press. Tried three different ways of centering the seating die but none worked: neck expander bulged one side of the case every time when using both Jamison brass or cutdown 24 ga shot shell cases. Lee customer serv says it's the brass, but I've never seen this amount of die to press clearance.

Anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I'd say you have it sussed...the fit is off. If you can't tighten it up you won't have any luck. I used RCBS dies and press so no problems when I did it.
    Regards, Jim
