I'm new to this forum. I hang out on the 1911/1911a1 forum, but I ran accross this shot gun a few weeks ago and it kept telling me to take it home. Serial is 165761, Winchester Model 1912. My research on Old guns web site says it was made in 1918. No US markings, but has a faded painted number and a stamped letter K and number on the stock. It came out of Telluride, Co. Any info from you experts would be helpful. I bought it for home defense.
Pics to follow.
