    FN49 Fantasy Snipers

Greetings. I celebrated Guns Across America today by heading to the range with my FN49s.
I posed some observations a few days ago about an Argentineicon rifle I acquired recently.

    Unusual FN49: need identification

I could not discover anything new about this gun so I reached into my spare parts boxes and came up with a Fantasy Sniper in 7.62 NATO.

It joins my Egyptian. The smaller Weaver scope brings the line of sight low enough to make it comfortable to shoot without the snipers cheek rest

They look good together. The Argy shot well at 100yrs with surplus ammo.

    Cheers

Both rifles are milled to use the standard FN side rail, probably a reproduction. The mount and scope on the Argentineicon rifle is an original OIP ABL scope and Echo mount. It can be seen in the right lower corner of this picture.

The 3 swivel Egyptian wears a civilian Echo mount and Weaver K2.5 with post reticle. Here it is on the Argy.
