Question Muaser Bayonet Won't fit on Rifle...

I have recently received a very nice Yugoicon reworked k98. Along with it came a sling and a bayonet. When I took out the bayonet it looked to be in very nice condition, however, when I went to put it on the end of the rifle, It wouldn't fit. It turns out that the groove in the handle of the bayonet wasn't long enough to slide all the way over the bayonet lug. I believe that this is a Yugo bayonet because it has the mussel ring. Is there something different about the Yugo bayonets and the Germanicon ones. Everywhere i looked it said that they all work. Also, It came with a frog that I have never seen before. It has a very wide leather strip and folds over the top with rivets to hold it together for the belt loop. I'm thinking it is what the Yugo's used... Anyway... suggestions on getting a new bayonet or bayonet lug and what the bayonet and frog actually are??? I might sell it to get one that fits if I have to.
    Thanks,
    Surpman

Pictures will be needed to identify both the frog and the bayonet.

That's a Chileanicon Mauser bayonet. I am in need of a Chilean bayonet and I believe I have an extra M48 bayonet I could trade you for it. If interested, send me a PM.

Just for the record, here is what the M48/all other Yugoslav Mausers bayo & scabbard look like.
In the first photo (L) the bottom bayo & frog are the post war models.

Here are the photos of the bayonet I have that I believe will fit on your rifle. Just verify it for sure as you never specifically named the type rifle you have other than being Yugoicon.

The close up of the lettering shows grease, not rust. There is still some cosmolineicon on the blade and in the scabbard. This one does not have a frog.

I have realized that your Chileanicon is not the Chilean I "need" but as it is a type I do not have I'm still interested in it. I have an 1895 mauser that is missing it's bayonet.
