Knowing what we know now about Deloreans, I might have picked a different car for a time-machine donor! Don't know if a Volvo motor has what it takes to even get to 88 mph for the Flux Capacitor to work!
Tread carefully know your subject well the rifle you think is a BUBBA special may in fact not be. I have saved several rifles from this lack of knowledge.
The Brits built many sporting rifles on actions that were not militry rifle actions even though they came from the same factory. The commercial makers also converted many military rifles to sporters as well because they had the actions. Some military rifles look like bubba specials because there may have not been many made or a newer model design happened along killing of the older model or that model was just dropped because of the problems of parts/repair/ simpler easier supply stanardization.
I own and use ex military sporter rifles and will never rebuild them because they are a part of my history and my countrys history which i collect. I also collect military rifles.
In 20+yrs you maybe called Bubba for turning a sporter into a non genuine bitsa looking milsurp.
