    Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on it, never knew they existed, only ones I know about the Vickers made pattern 1913 untill now !! anyone have production figures etc.

    Bigduke6, I had not seen that thread, thank you. I meant to post this reply on this thread but ended up posting it also on the original thread. Old age catching up with me as was 1256 unread posts - yes I have been away for awhile. The bayonet pictured is more like the Vickers pre-production model (no gripscale grooves and no clearance hole) than my Enfield of similar dates. Unfortunately don't have any production figures. Probably 10 years ago now (how time flies) a P1913 with hook sold at auction here in Australiaicon for $7,000 but was in almost mint condition with two bayonet collectors basically fighting over it.

    Thanks smith3006, just goes to show, you learn something new every day. strange as it seems but I was talking to the owner of the Vickers P13 bayonet I seen a few years back, he was at the Birmingham International yesterday ( 17th Feb).
