    Springfield 1922M1 Scope base

    I have a Springfield 1922M1 and want to mount a Unertl scope.
    I wanting to know which base I need and where I might find them.

    Jim, What you need are Lyman "O" and Lyman "E" blocks, or equivalent blocks made by Unertl and others. I think there are some new production blocks available. A search for scope blocks on the internet would probably find the source. The blocks you need will have a small half moon shaped cutout on the edge. Original O and E blocks have become expensive, $100 or so a set, due to people buying them to use in making fake 1903 NRA Sniper rifles.

    I had found info that the 03 used the O and E base but wasn't sure that was true for the 1922M1.

    In my post above I intended to say USMC Sniper rifles, not NRA Sniper. I cant find a way to edit my post so am using another post to correct the error.
