Lee Enfield Markings CNF ? Cadet Naval Force or CommonWealth Naval Forces?

On the page that has my battle damaged No1 Mk3 rifle here--
    https://www.milsurps.com/content.php...attle-Damaged)

There has always been a question about one of the Government Markings on the butt stock.

    The marks are ---
    a) RM = Royal Marines

    b) CNF -- reported to be Cadet Naval Force in a Skennertonicon Book but I found that CNF was officially the Australianicon Navy in 1901 and later that it is Common Wealth Naval Forces on page 11 where the Australian Navy reports that the name or marking CNF was adopted in 1901 and appointed to be by the King in 1910 here at this web page 11 ----
    http://www.navy.gov.au/sites/default...ic_program.pdf

    c) WA = Western Australia

So looking for a few years for the CNF mark in virtually all Lee Enfield Markings--web pages I cannot find it anywhere. With what has to be one of the major identifiers as to Government marks --it appears nowhere I can find except on my rifle and in the Australian Navys Pdf letter above as CNF = CommonWealth Naval Force.

Not a single Lee Enfield affectianado in the world has emailed to identify it as CommonWealth Naval Forces?

So maybe the years old mystery is resolved.
I suggest to all Lee Enfield folks to let the people that have web sites with Lee Enfield Markings --- to amend their Government Markings for Australia to reflect that this mark exists officially.
    Maybe?

Let me know what you all think

    Regards
    Terry in Victoria

I should mention that -- -when I first posted on a few web sites about this question I had mentioned --could this mean -- CommonWealth Naval Force or Forces?

No one came forward one way or the other -- just a maybe.
So what do you guys think ?
