    M1 helmet identification

Hey guys, this is my first post and i just wanted to say hi, and to beg some knowledge from the other members. I bought an M1icon helmet from a military flea market, but I cant identify it. I'm pretty sure it is the Vietnam style, with the less pronounced curv, but besides that, I'm stumped. There is no stamp under the brim, or anywhere for that matter. It was painted yellow, with the outside painted od green over the yellow. Can anybody help?

The stamp is probably under so much paint it's invisible. The yellow? Who knows? The green was to hide the yellow for the next "collector". You may have to use a bit of acetone to remove the paint where the heat code should be, I'll bet you find it...
    Regards, Jim

That does not look like a classic M1icon USGI helmet. I would suspect it is from another country. After that, I'm out of ideas.
