    Underwood carbine

I have an underwood carbine serial number 1428641 barrel date is 4-43 Underwood, front sight .U. Front band typeA unmarked, hand guard 2rivet with Pedersen in scrip and .U. Slide marked with ord, bomb on handle, type 2 bolt flat ,blue .U. , now to the rear sight flip but it has been put on backwards the s is on the right side, but the sight looks like it has been on carbine since it left the factory ?anybody heard of this being done, I have pics of carbine that I can send by e- mail .stock is high wood with a P in circle, has cartoughts of UGH overGHD in a large box also has cross cannons cartoughts, has PU in sling well, hammer is dogleg .U. Type 2, All parts are marked with the underwood .U. Mark trigger, extractor, firing pin, mag, release, I believe that all parts are org, to carbine, if anybody could post the pics that I have I don,t know how but I can send them by e mail if not I understand, should I leave the sights alone or try to change it, kind of thinking of leaving alone, adds character to it . Any way thanks for all the help in advance. John neff
