I believe Bruce McLaren a genius, I just don't have a hour to spend on a documentary. From 69-75 I followed both Trans-Am and Can-Am racing, I especially appreciated Mark Donahue who raced many McLaren built vehicles like the GT40, but that was a time when Roger Penske really made his name and the drivers didn't seem tied to any one of the major sponsors for long. Best extreme for a race car was the 917-10, how that monster stayed together is anyone's guess but it in effect cancelled the series. Great to see some of the original cars still appearing at places like Road America in Vintage Racing, like seeing an old warbird fly.
