Sharing Pics of restored Model 1920 Rifle/Pistol Rack for 1903, M1 Garands & 1911's

Late last year I tagged along with "Rick the Librarian" post https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=40256 showing my find of a rough Model 1920 gun rack.

Well I finally got around to restoring it, so here are the pictures.

The pistol rack looks lonely; I don't have any 1911's the closest I have is my Browning Pro9.
I feel a new collection may be in the offering.

Nice job! I got a little stymied byt the job of refinishing, espevially if it meant getting rid of the M1911 serial numbers on the top. Trying to decide whether to proceed or sell it.

Spectacular! Great job on the restoration. Is it possiable to lock the long gun lock ring as theaft protection?

Promo; the shipping really is ridiculous, they want a dedicated pallet because its so tall etc.
They wanted 700.00 to ship mine from Arkansas to Ohio.
The Ebayer that sold me this was only charging 135.00 shipping and could not afford to send it to me, so I made him a deal and met him half-way in Memphis and picked it up in person.

Hooked on History; yes both the rifle and pistol brass rings will slide lock the barrels or trigger guards, and you can put a padlock on the rings!

Deciding to "mail" something like this would be a nightmare, and I don't even want to imagine the cost. I would probably try to make it face to face (Western Washington State) first.

Can this rack be taken apart? If one would cut the pipe in the middle off the feet and remove the top I guess it could be sent easier. Rewelding a pipe wouldn't be a problem if it needs to be restored anyway.

And after all it looks perfect for presenting different M1903s and M1911s (especially M1911s, since I currently store them upside down side-by-side in a drawer).
