Sharing Pics of restored Model 1920 Rifle/Pistol Rack for 1903, M1 Garands & 1911's

Its approximately 27 inches in diameter at the base.
The height is 50.5 inches and the top ring diameter is 22 inches
I have not weighted it, but it took both me and my 19 year old grandson to put it in a vehicle, I am going to guess about 150.00 lbs.
So more awkward size than too heavy for cheap shipping.
It could be pretty much completely dissembled, all the rings are carriage bolt press fit, the pipe appears to be press/soldered fitted (not welded).
So you might be able to remove it without much damage, but I don't think I could do with any kind of tools I have.
Cutting, I don't know

This rack has a much different header system, but maybe mine did also at one time.

Anybody know if this is the correct look for a Model 1920 (That's what's stamped on mine)

Or maybe there were various versions? Would love to know????


P.S. The guy I got this from said his father got it scrap while he was in the Navy and that this had been on a Navy ship in WWII.

Ok, I have done lot more recent research, and found a new find (M1920 Rack) on E-Bay, wow, its setup mostly for 1911's and its near Rick the Librarian!
