Russian SKS and Chinese Parts. Help Please.

Hey guys. So I recently purchased an Russianicon SKS from a pawn shop. It was in really nice shape (Russian refurb), but with no magazine and a Norinco top cover with a fixed rail mount and scope. They said they ordered magazines and they will give me one when they come in, but I don't think they ordered the stock 10 rounders (and it's taking forever).

A buddy of mine has a Chinese SKS that he "tricked out" with a Tapco stock, magazines, and other goodies. Since he isn't using the stock magazine, would that fit on my Russian rifle? It may be a stupid question, but I don't want to buy it off of him unless I know this will work. Thanks guys!

UPDATE: He does not have his 10 rounder anymore, so if someone has one they are willing to sell, let me know.
