I'm glad I reload AND cast my own. I can reload carbine for around $3/box. I've got several thousand loaded already, so I've got plenty on hand. I sold 5 bricks of .22RF at one of our local shows for $35/brick. The guy complained about the price so I told him he could go see if he could find some cheaper, but I didn't think there would be any left by the time he got back. He shut up and bought it all. It was the cheapest at the show!
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. I just bought last month from the CMPs LC ammo sale, I said hell with it and bought 5,400 rounds I don't ever want to worry about not having it. I also don't want reload it I'm already buried with my 308/06/223 match ammo loading.

CMPicon now sold out and not expected to have any from Aguila for 6 months. I am cleaning 100+ brass to reload this week with 550 on hand....Pretty lame. Regards, Rick.

I have about 1400 loaded factory (1/2 FMJ, 1/2 JSP), about 200 reloads lead and copper clad, and the fixings for about 2000 more reloads. I can plink all I want with my carbines. ARs is another story. I have two ARs and about 1200 rounds factory. Though I have several thousand 223 brass, I have no dies or projectiles to reload. UGH! I am on the back order list with MidwayUSA for them.

I didn't find out about the CMPicon LC ammo until it was too late. Older brother in CA can buy from CMP, but doesn't do computers so he probably missed it too. I've got 500 LC, 550 Rem FMJ, and 550 reloads including some by HSM. I've got everything on hand to make 2500 reloads, but only have about 900 on the brass. Haven't fired a shot since about October - need to work on that soon! - Bob
