Tokarev magazines

Are all Tokarev magazines interchangable except the YugoM57 magazines?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. How about M57 magazines in a standard pattern Tokarev? The extra space for the one round should just hang down past the grip... unless there is a difference in the release slot.

Sorry if this is widely known, but on my iPhone and saw the thread. I only have a Yugo icon

, so no other to compare.

im intersted in this too, being able to put a m57 mag in my ttc would rule

This is an old thread, but, the answer is yes. The M57 mags will fit the other TT33s but the others magazines will not fit the M57. With that floor plate hanging down, it probably won't be too comfortable to shoot.
