Arado I am very curious about the six pointed star on the butt of the first rifle pictured in this thread. I have quite a few No2 MkIV's and they all have a seven pointed star, as do the vast majority of rifles Ive seen elsewhere and pictured on these forums. I have seen a few in recent times with six points and the rifles looked like poor modern duplications. I am not suggesting this with yours but I am very curious about this feature. All mine are Australianicon conversions. Are the Britishicon conversions stamped similarly?
Sorry if this puts a negative slant on your gun.

The star was on the piece when acquired decades ago. The rifle is in unissued condition and not for sale. I am just showing my toys.

And thank you for doing it. No suggestion from me that you have stamped that star but I am just very curious about the six pointed star as I am quite sure some one has been doing it in recent decades.

Also it looks in nice condition, but unissued? Perhaps we could see a bit more of it if you have the time.

No more pictures, but, I meant unissued after conversion. They took a used, 1941 full match Lithgowicon .303 rifle, installed a .22 tube in the barrel and replaced bolt head, then stamped .22 on a stripped magazine. What I don't understand is the MKIV stamp on butt stock.? It is a No. 2. stars don't bother me. Gary...
