C310polit. Maybe you ought to look at the crimp nose blank thread for an offer made by CSM Archer.

Ah, yes........ There's the mag opening cover as it should be. Note the shortness and slightly different geometry. The L4 A2 on still clicks closed at the front end as per Bren but abuts against the new mag catch/ejector assembly as it does

No need for an insert as the L4 mag cover is just a shortened 303 item.Front rib flattened and then front and back profiled with the underneath front half round filed to make another 'ramp'

Kevin, can you please give me an overall length? Per your example I will need to trim more off the front and end. I am also a bit confused by this "with the underneath front half round filed to make another 'ramp'". Are there any pictures available of the feed ramp air and the front mag catch area? The pictures thus far have been a really big help.

Looks like BP beat me to it but will put up pic anyway.
You can roughly see how much to cut off the back (they vary) from pics so far as a starting point.

Looks like I just need the ramp at this point. I am getting ready to start the milling for the mag itself. I have the blue prints and some great refrence pictures . (fingers are crossed)
    Thanks a bunch.

That relief cut that you show and describe is the remains of the mark left by the milling cutter slicing across the face of the magazine face after cutting the slot for the larger more substantial lkug of the 'commonwealth' front magazine lug. There'll probably be another similar mark on the other side

These areas look like they will be a bit tricky.

Is the purpose of this pin to retain the spring?
