1917 Eddystone Red Stripe Correct Sling

Picked up a 1918 manufacture per forum link, 1917 Eddystone still with cosmoline everywhere from a local estate.
Will post pics after I get it cleaned up.
From what I have gleened from the other post it appears to be a british import, but your comments are always welcome.

Looking to try and add a sling and need some help if you could tell which would be correct.

Breif description of rifle markings.
Eddystone SN 194088
Rifle Has Broad Arrow in a circle on stock near unit marking FMR over 129 both with lines through them. Circled broad arrow near in front of floorplate with a Block T below. It has CAI import marks on right side if barrel behind the sight. Barrel is 12-17 manufacture. Red band with stenciled 30-06 on lower stock & an orange color on the same area on the hand gaurd. Bolt handle has a group of what looks like zeros , ordinance & eagle proof marks. Eddystone & eagle proofs on receiver parts.

Yours was a Canadian issue rifle at one time. Hard to pin down exactly, but most of the Canadian issue 17's that I've seen still wearing their their issue slings appear to be the Blue Air Force Sling. Although the Khaki Army sling would probably be correct as well. Most of the Canadian issue 17's were used for basic training purposes, or guarding Air bases. Some were also issued for coastal defence. Strangely enough, mine has Canadian Artillery Regiment markings, although it was likely used for training purposes.

Keep those nice red stripes though. Not many are left now because people keep removing them.

I would not put a blue sling on one unless it was marked "RCAF". That one is possibly ex-PCMR, as a few that I have seen of the later issue ones had the red paint and barred out markings from other Canadian units.
