    Steyr Manlicher bolt problem

I having trouble re-inserting the bolt in my M95 Styer. One book says to put put the bolt head until it clicks. I can only move the bolt head a little bit. It is under tension. The bolt operates correctly. Any suggestions?

You have to pull it and twist at the same time. Once set, it is like a hair trigger, bump it and it will click back. It is under a lot of tension.

Once you pull it out, turn it in the correct direction and it stays there, very carefully line up the rails on the bottom of the bolt and insert it. Again, don't bump it as it may click back. Once started, push the trigger forward, opposite of normal and slide the bolt in.

Pull and twist is correct. Have a buddy put a dime coin on the bolt. This will hold the bolt head in place. Gently place the bolt into the receiver and then remove the dime. Good luck
