    1901 BSA Mk1* MLE

Here's a nice one i picked up last week.
Very happy with this one as full original matching Longlees are very hard to find in NZicon even though there's no shortage of examples here.

Very nice indeed! Gives me hope I'll find a nice example like that one day. Best I've managed so far is a matching numbers 1920 dated BSA MLE that was subsequently cut down to range pattern rifle specs. Such a shame almost all NZicon MLE's have mis-matched bolts.

I've always wanted one of those...they seem to be such a rifleman's rifle. You toss it up to the shoulder and the sights are on as soon as you look through them. Beautiful handling rifle too...makes one wish he'd been there when the first appeared. Imagine the difference when you turned in your Martini or Snider and took this in hand? Like trading in a pick handle for a piece of art...
    Regards, Jim

Grand piece there... On the must have list. You always seem to post some fine kit.
    Cheers
