At the Sharp End (author Tim Cook)

"The first comprehensive history of Canadians in the Great War in more than 40 years". "Tim Cook is the Great War historian at the Canadianicon War Museum as well as an adjunct research professor at Carlton University."

Two volumes $40 each. I picked up Vol. 1, (532 pages), in Sept. at the Cdn. War Museum. Vol. 2 should be out now. It is very detailed and tells the story of the Cdn. infantry in an interesting way. I look forward to getting Vol. 2.

    Bill

Edit: It should be noted that Tim Cook's second book in the series titled "Shock Troops", today won the Charles Taylor prize ($25000) for Canadian non-fiction.
