    Yard Sale Find - No4 MK2

I don't often do yard sales anymore because I never seem to find anything but do still go to the big neighborhood types when I can. I recently found this at one such neighborhood yard sale. 1955 production UF prefix No4 MK2, unissued, removed from the paper by the previous owner and never fired. It's not something I specifically collect as it's post WWII but I just couldn't pass it up for the price, $350. I expect it will be a safe queen. I can't say it's anything I ever expected to find.

That's the sister rifle to one that I have. You have to take it to the range at least once. One of the most accurate rifle I own. A real pleasure to fire.

    Yardsale find

You guys in the States have all the fun. If that was found in a yardsale in Australiaicon you would be up to your neck in Police, probably the SWAT Team.
    Fantastic find .

Excellent find! I thought $500 recently at the local store was a good deal on a similar rifle and story! I also have one of its sisters and have fired it and enjoyed it thoroughly (can attest to the pleasing accuracy, looks and handling). Enjoy it whatever you do!

Great find . On another forum there is a "you suck" award for people who get good deals. I think this deserves a "you suck" award.

to be fair, that would be the same response in California and New York (not all the states are free)
