    Carbine ammo question Geco

Could use some help. I can get ( 6) boxes of ammo for the m1 carbine made by GECO imported by Century Arms when they were in Canadaicon. The primers are painted red. Does any one now this ammo is it safe to use & is the brass reloadable. I don't have good pics to put up. Thanks for any help.

The ammo is safe to use. I shot lots in the past. That used to be where we got cheap ammo. I doubt the brass is reloadable but one look after firing will tell you for sure. Two holes is Berdan and one is Boxer. We reload boxer around here. The red seal on the primer is just that. Don't worry and fire away.

Geco is good Germanicon made ammo. As stated it very well could be Berdan or Boxer. You will have to look at a fired case to see.
