1940 Turk Mauser Advice

I just finished taking it apart and cleaning it. Not a spec of rust on it that I could see. No pitting, just a couple of wear spots where there is some stock to metal contact and the bluing is gone.

I have discovered a problem with this particular rifle. I like fixing things. I like cleaning rifles, getting rust off, making the stock look nice again. There's NOTHING do do to it. I've now wiped it down, cleaned the stock with a linseed soaked cloth, taken it apart and put it back together.

One of these days I have to start shooting them I guess. I have the ammo and the range and a way to get there.
