    I don't see any file marks and the inner band seems recessed enough. What I'm looking for is the band screw anybody know a source ?

    what makes me doubt is the lone weld spot at up center, never seen that with the 4 welds

    Here is one that is very similar or not the same. It's on a Quality Hardware 4.8. I don't think the front sight has ever been off, but I could be wrong.

    I thought that was a locator for assembly and the four weld spots were the others. That way it doesn't move when pressed together for welding.
