This rifle is as received from Red Star. Just one of the lessor ones and there were many like this with the cartouche rasped off. Who knows why ? This seller had three of these rifles and recently sold a very nice one for $2500. This one in question had a starting price of $2300 to begin with and has been lowered to $2000. He wont go any lower and will just put it back in the safe if it doesn't sell.L. The one he's holding on to is a beautiful example and will go high dollar if he decides to sell it. He also sold a almost pristine NZ Rem. 03 with a 3005XXX serial number and a 11-41 barrel date about a month back.

I just barely got beat out for that 3,005,000-ranged NZ M1903. I was NOT happy!!
