A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Smile Great to be "back in the saddle"!

Great to see that a few old friends from "The Other Side" made it across. It's good to be back and "SPAM FREE" once again, and I'm looking forward to renewing old acquaintances.

    Hi Guys,

I've never been to this board but thought I'd say hello. I'm usually on the carbine board or the 1903 board.

I inherited this grungy old Trapdoor from my dad. One of his friends who didn't like guns had inherited it from his grandfather. It sat in the back of my father's safe for years and we never knew what it was. I'm sure it's not worth much in this condition but it's interesting to me. It's almost a magic feeling holding a rifle this old and wondering where it's been. Just thought you might find this interesting and it'll also give me some more practice loading photos.

    Best regards,
    ~ Harlan
