Check the MKLicon under sniper rifles, or use the search function (top right corner of web site) and I think you'll find some excellent reference material..

As an example, here's an article in the Knowledge Libraryicon in the Canadianicon section:

1915 M10 Ross MkIII* Sniper Rifle (click here)

I've never seen a Ross sniper rifle with an A5 scope.

In the MKLicon, there is a WW1 ...

There seen quite a few pictures of Mk III Ross rifles with Win. A5 scopes on them.

I have seen them on line but don`t recall where at the moment.

The Ross Rifle Story has a good pic of one.

Clive Law`s book about Canadianicon snipers "Without Warning has another photo of the same rifle. There are a couple of period photos of snipers with Rosses and A5s in the same book.

I`ve seen original copies of the The Ross Rifle Story for sale a few places, but they are pretty pricey. Repro copies can be found here in Canadaicon sometimes, but I don`t know where at this time.

Without Warning can be bought on line from a few different places.

    Maybe try http://www.servicepub.com/serv-pub.html.

I am not sure, but I thought Mr. Law was a member here.
Maybe someone else can tell us more about that.

Clive Law "servicepub" is a member and we promote his site through banner ads here.

However, I don't believe he sells The Ross Rifle Story - ISBN: 0-9732416-0-8 book. I've seen them at local gun shows and they are usually priced at around $100.

    Doug

What I`d like to find is an original copy in good shape, for a reasonable price.

I`ve just about wore all the spots off the copy I have.
