Just happened to check some old brass I have and look what showed up. Wonder what they are worth.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. If it is just the brass (as opposed to the complete cartridge), I'm not sure they are worth much. Back before ammunition really took off in price last year, I used to love to buy large baggies of old 30-06 and .45 cartridges. Sometimes you'd come across some interesting finds!

Agreed, it's loaded cartridges that glean the dollars.

I'm glad you said that, now I feel better about loading all the 1929NM and 1934 Palma brass I had

I was moving through a torn up muddied up training area in Ft Lewis WA some decades back and came across a partial, jammed clip of M1909 blank. I washed them and examined them to find they were marked 1933...the clip looked like someone bit it and three rounds remained. Right where the troop threw it back then...
