samco global and swedish mauser questions.

    hello all,
I am in the process of attempting to purchase a Swedishicon M41B but Samco Global and am just curious what other peoples impressions are of them.

so far, I have yet to get a response to any inquiries I've made.

they sell wood bullet swedish rounds but say that they require a "blank adapter" for swedish M96 and M38s but no mention about the M41.

also, quick question, are these M41s legitimate? seems like any sniper rifle you can find is at least 4 to 10 times the value of the standard service equivalent but these can be had as low as $600(even with their overly generous criteria in which they grade it very good). also, no scope or mount included. were scopes and mounts serialized to match the rifles or can a guy just get any old thing off ebay and have himself a swedish sniper? what would be a possible explanation as to why these rifles do not have their scopes and mounts in the first place? thanks in advance.

The purpose of the blank adapter is to break up the wood projectile to prevent injury to others, they are lethal at close ranges. I have had no dealings with Samco but AFAIK the M41's are legit and the reason they are asking less is because they lack the scope and mount. In some cases the scope and mount are actually worth/cost more that the rifle it's self. I'm not really up on Swedishicon snipers but have all ideas the mounts and scopes were numbered to the rifle. Can a guy get any old thing off ebay and have himself a Swede sniper? Depends on what you mean by any old thing. IMO, if it's not a genuine Swede issue scope and mount the answer is NO. The reason some don't have scopes and or mounts is simply that some were sold off without them.

by any old thing I was just saying buying a swedish mount and scope and calling it good.
I was asking because I was not sure if it was a deal where they didn't meet accuracy standards and so were separated from the scope and sent off as standard infantry rifles. I know the swedes had pretty high standards for their snipers but wasn't sure about their selection or production processes.
