Cinders you are showing the weakness in the Aussie system we will get over run by real tanks now and infantry with real guns and ammo. The second line Lithgowicon 303s will have to fill the void again. Are you ready me i have to reload a few more crackers.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Just a question for my Botany Bay Commandos south of the Equator, are your firearms laws as aggressive as ours are here in Pommarania on handguns /Rifles also do you buy the artillery and tanks deactivated or do they remain unobstructed ready for the duck season?
    Serious Question this time?

Each state have their own laws even though we are supposed to be the same. I am a Westsider we are allowed pistols for club use only strictly controlled but not impossible. A class rimfire and shotgun open or club use reasonable requirements ok. B class centre fire bolt action SS or 10 round mag max genuine need or club use. Also maximum size under 338 Lap ? . C class semi auto rimfire ,shotgun or CF quite hard but not impossible many boxes to tick one cross and your out. No military look alikes, no SMGs unless deact or MGs unless deact any thing bigger deact. New tanks are welded up solid older tanks etc are runners with deact guns.Collectors cant be fired legally but operational pistols, shotguns, rifles except semi auto rifles military deact,or SMG or MG both deact there is also size calibre restriction in there. Swords and bayonets no restriction
Duck seasons are a sore point

Yes, been that long since they've been shot at round here, that they are nearly as unafraid of man as the crocodiles are....

    Bindi,
Thanks for that, so in short a bag of nails if you have any part of the Union Flag in your flags make up then.
In some ways that sounds worse than our draconian laws.
What is sad is, it was Micheal Ryan an RFD who started this whole thing off at Hungerford. We are all human and balance on a wall, and all capable of being pushed off the wall in either direction, so that should have been treated in isolation as should Dunblane.

I know those are an emotive subject, but there seems to be no sensible or reasoned solution drawn up by Governments to tackle wild cards, as they could happen again tomorrow!!!

Um Bindi I aired my views on the M1A1icon refurbs we purchased V's the Leopard II which begs the higher echelons thought process when we have had the crews trained in Leopards all these years we have gone to a new tank that is to heavy for our bridges and I am quite sure some of the old hands would love an SLR more than a Steyr on a lighter note.......

Also Bindi I have lotsa broom sticks with a large bang sign on the end of it surely to deter the most would be's ?????? $5.95/broom at Bunnings, the bang sign you can do yourself and the boondies for the bait thrower you can get out of your local river cripes all of my trade secrets for the world to see.
