Hi John, thanks for the info which I really appreciate. I was going to add that if any member has 00354F and wants the test shooting results they are welcome to it. It a piece of A4 and the ink has faded but can still be read. Many thanks again, Steve

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hey all,

I've been searching for C3A1 documents, specifically anything regarding a contract with PH, for several years now.

I have also have seen the following C3A1s while in service with the CAF:

    00055G - McMillan A2
    00111G - Walnut
    00376G - McMillan A2
    00478G - Walnut

Any info on the above, or on C3A1s in general, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,

    Info is a little sketchy...

00376G Is not listed in the surviving documentation.

The below are listed among a larger batch with the following heading.

CANADIAN REFURBISHMENT CONTRACT W8466-7-EHB17/01 DATED 26-11-87
ALL RECORDED IN C3A1 FILE ON LINED PAPER CONTRACT COMPLETED AND ALL RETURNED 31-12-1989

    00055G
    00111G
    00268G
    00478G

That's all we have unfortunately, I do hope that's a help.
