Need help identifying stock

I have been looking for awhile now and I cant figure out what this stock goes to. It looks like a M1917 stock, but It has a slightly raised cheek rest which I can't find on any other m1917. It's also short. I understand the OGEK (no box) cartouche means it was handled by Ed Klouser in Ogden. I don't know a whole lot about mil.surp. rifles so any help would be appreciated!

I'd agree about it being an EX M 1917 stock. It's just a fully sporterized and heavily modified stock now. The small has been changed to a semi pistol grip and material has been removed from the back to give it a bit of comb.

Thanks! I saw it at an antique shop for $30 bucks and was really curious about it. It still pretty interesting, It looks like whoever did modify it, did it a while back. The dings and stains are equal over the entire rifle including the parts that were worked off. The stock really smells really funky too. On a second note.. How much would you think this is worth?

Not very much. It's just a stock for a rifle that hasn't got one or has something worse...$30 is a top dollar. Until you find someone that doesn't have one at all...
