From the video interviews of William "Wild Bill" Guarnere it seems to me the casting of Frank John Hughes to play him in the Band Of Brothers series was spot on.
One of the greatest screen tributes to the US troops in WWII BOB makes the loss of each of these men more personal.
    RIP Mr. Guarnere

Had the honor of seeing "Wild Bill" at the Allentown fairgrounds about eight-ten years ago. He was full of life! Very spry and and witty.

    RIP

Even in the brief BOB interviews you could tell he had a great personality.

I had a feeling about this. When I read a few months ago ( Dec-ish ? IIRC ) about the passing of Babe , my thoughts turned to Bill . Something told me then he wouldn't stay around long without him. They had been the best of friend for all this long time.
God bless them all , I hope thier having a joyous reunion up there.
    Chris
