    Found another Krag

    hi guys found another Kragicon in this estate. model 1898 US Springfield armory. serial 84258. Bolt is marked only with a number 3 nothing else.bore is perfect. rear sight has a number 4. stock has been sportered . What do i have guys thanks mike

    thanks alot it was over a week of hauling out of the gunsmith estate so i think i made my gas an time back so far. the total so far of whole guns that they said were junk is close to 30 whole gun. i have no clue how many more are there yet. just posted some pics of jap stuff under that form.

    This one's a model 1896. I think that serial # would have been a rifle, not carbine.

    would that mean that the barrel was cut an then frount sight put back on

    What does it measure out to? Mine is two numbers off one in the SRS 1st addition Martial Arm list and it's clearly listed as a rifle.
