Calgary, Alberta: Vintage Battle Rifle Shoot

To acknowledge the milestone anniversaries of the Great and Second World Wars, and building on the successful Ross Rifle event in 2013 (profiled in the Ross forum), another vintage battle rifle shoot will take place this year – once again on the Alberta Fullbore Rifle Association (AFRA) 900-metre range at the Alberta Provincial Rifle Association (APRA) Homestead shooting facility west of Calgary.

Lee Enfields, of course, as well as Ross rifles and any other military long arm, 1945 or earlier, welcome.

This two-day event will take place June 28 and 29, 2014.

    PM me for more information.

Just a bump to state that interest in this event has been great so far (it has been posted several places) and slots are filling up fairly quickly. If anyone here is interested in participating, please consider doing so fairly soon. I think because of this ridiculously long winter in North America there's a fair bit of pent-up desire to get on the range.
