I've had this for twentry or so years. Anyone know who made it and what time frame?

That's pretty slick RB. Does it work reasonably well? Anyone tried something similar for, say, a Browning 9mm?

I never got around to trying it. It is a single shot, of course. The .22 barrel is inserted in the .45 barrel. A pusher (cleaning rod) pops out the firing pin section. The .22 round is inserted followed by the firing pin. The .22 barrel has a little over 4" of rifling. After firing, the fired case and firing pin are then pushed out with the cleaning rod. Almost like using a muzzle loader.

Those used to be around about a decade or two ago. You could get them occasionally. I don't know if anyone turned them out wholesale, but I could make one here for that matter. I'd just use a .22 barrel remnant. Thing is there's far superior stuff available now so they've dropped out of sight...
