    My M1 Garand 1943/1945

I picked up this Garand along with an 03A3 a couple months ago. Degreased it, and put on a new stock from Dean's Gun Restorations. It was sometime after I ordered the stock that I read all the adverse remarks about Dean's. I must say I had absolutely no trouble with that company.
The M1icon is a Winchester with a SN from Jan. 1943. The rifling is excellent in a SA barrel marked as a first refit in Jan. 1945. The op rod is SA, so may have been done at the same time as the barrel. I will have to zero the front sight as it is off to the left. Otherwise with good ammo MOA is where the holes go.
