Pics of front sight stake variations

I've decided to restore my carbine and I was going to break it down and catalog the parts using the carbine club data sheet. Are there books that have pics of every variation possible? Specifically I'm looking for how the front sight is staked. It looks like mine is a straight cut keyway, chiseled, but that's all I can tell using the pics I found on the internet. Also, the front sight has some weird tool marks on top, almost like gouges. I will post a better pic as soon as my camera is working.
