    Pawn shops in Leesburg Fl.

Spent a couple of days going through the pawn shops in Leesburg Fl. Found 4 M1icon carbines (one had sights messed up) and a long Carcano 6.5 for $199.00 and they were anxious to get rid of it.

Let me know if somebody is interested. I did not buy them as my money was going elsewhere!

Did a bit of pawnshopping out of my area last week as a break from fishing. No 4 Mk 2 unfired import marked $750 Springfield 1922 NRA match rifle ( mounts no scope) $2000.
Over priced. Went to Walmart an bought more lures.

Caught lots of fish though. The No 4 was Beautiful. It was the first unfired No4 I had ever seen in person. The 1922 was lovely as well. Book said $550 & $1500 had no cash on hand and the owner did not seem flexable on the prices. Perhaps they will be there next time with a more reasonable price.CMPicon M-1 ordered ,fingers crossed hope I get a good one and I will not feel too bad about the beautiful blond No 4 sitting in that lonley pawn shop.

Curious, what are the carbines going for down there?
It's a shame a face to face would be a pita as we couldn't be any further apart and still be in Pennsylvania.

Auction only on the carbines. Check the CMPicon site. I waited to long to visit the south store to pick an M1icon in person as I here the shelves are rather bare. I figured I better order on before they are no mas. The examples I see at shows are pricey compared to CMP.

Pawn shops around here are producing some really good finds. In fact, I'm about to the point to where I'd rather spend a weekend cleaning out pawn shops and skip the gun shows ( ok, I'm not that desperate yet )
My brother took a trip down to Destin, Fla last month, and he called me along the way, said the pawn shops from Columbus Ga to at least Dothan Alabama were 'full of the stuff I like'..so I see a trip down that way soon, probably take in a visit to the new infantry museum at my old home away from home, Ft. Benning!
