I got my 1st AR today I am a into garands and 03s. It is a carbine manufactured by DPMS., my dealer got 25 of them from a wholesaler The bore is great, there is a rack number on the butt. overall the rifle needs a bath the wholesaler told my dealer they were traded in by a contractor that was in Afghanistan they were 500 each bucks he sold all 25 of them in one day. I know do not go by the story but the inside of the hand guard and the part barrel that in covered by the hand guard were covered with a fine gold/ brownish dust.

My place had them too, sold out in 2 days. The batch before the DPMS's where police trade in 6721 Colts. I bought one after years of resisting but the price was right. Gotta love Surplus dealers...
