Ross trial Binoculars, stepnada.

Hello Anyone reading this,
I am the current owner of a set of Trial Binoculars, issued to certain named officers during the early 30's, to see if they were a good fit.
These were given to selected officers, in this case to a certain Captain or Major J.E. Rogers of the Rifles. He served in both WW1 and WW2 and these bino's have certainly had a hard life. They are a great piece and well worthy of restoration, mainly they are missing the brass beauty ring, and maybe the angle indicator which fits on top, between the oculars on top the hinge.
Anyone having some parts for sale, or knowing where I could find some, I would really appreciate the hearing from you, as to where I could obtain some, as I'm having no luck.

I don't know what a brass beauty ring is or what these Ross trials binos were but if it's what it sounds like it could easily be turned up. As for the angle (diopter reading) indicator, this is a very simply thing. I wouldn't mind bettting that these trial binos were made up using other commercial readily available parts where necessary.

I'd make my own parts or look on that auction site for a similar era pair from Ross.
