    1903A4 on guns international

Thoughts on the two rifles for sale in Sniper rifle section?

I am particularly interested in the one with the Lyman Alaskan

    Thanks

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Rifle 3424802 - No Inspection markings on the stock mentioned. The bolt notch does not look good. The bolt handle does not look good. The Alaskan Scope appears to be postwar commercial model.

Rifle Z4002318 - Rebuilt (Red River) Commercial Weaver 330C scope - The description is loaded with useless information and omits much that would be significant. The Z is probably the better of the two but would be buyers will need a better description and more and better photographs.

    Regards,
    Jim

    Thanks for your help.
