So I got some range time today on the 25 and then the 100 to test out my theory. I started out at the 25 yard range with the sight set to 200. I ended up needing the +.06 blade, and was able to put my shots about 3/4 inch above POA. So when I moved to the 100 yard range I didn't change anything. My shots were grouped about 3 inches high. Now my thought in the original post was that I could lower my rear sight 3 clicks (with each click being about 1 inch) and bottom out the sight and then I would be right on at 100 yards. Well I lowered the rear sight two clicks to see what would happen and my shots were now about 3 inches low. Long story short it turns out all I needed was 1 click down from the 200 mark. So now, with this ammo at least, my 100 yard setting on the sight is 200 yards minus 1 click. I was able to group 7 in a 4 inch circle. I'll see what the 200 yard setting looks like on a 200 yard range this fall when I travel to new mexico. I shot 40 rounds today and my shoulder is a little tender.
