    Dutch P1914 find in Afghanistan

    I got the following email from a gentleman in the Dutch Army stationed in Afghanistan:

    As a Dutch person i am still thankfull for the US people who where figthing for or freedom now almost 65 years ago.

    With the information this Pattern 1914 will hopefull go to or national army museum.
    The .303 Ammo, i found here was in poor condition. However the shots i did fired did hit the target.
    The taliban will not use it any more.

    Guessing from the "EOD" initials, I would think this guy and his unit has a very tough job! Unfortunately, the pictures are low resolution, but still interesting to look at. Note that there are a few of him popping off a few rounds.
